MermAId Underway gives users the ability to simultaneously monitor the entire marine VHF voice spectrum. With mermAId's patented approach to live transcriptions, mariners and maritime support personnel are better informed about emergencies and navigational hazards.
Transcription and replay of emergency alerts, such as maydays and pon pons, are included forever with purchase of a mermAId underway.
MermAId devices can be used with a mobile device, laptop, or with a mermAId touchscreen device (sold separately).
The first release of mermAId performs all-channel transcription, translation, audio recording, and logging into a searchable database. Other functionality will be rolled out via over the air updates in the coming months. The current user interface is shown in the images on this product page.
